About the Role

We’re the lifeline of critical aviation services, and now, we’re seeking an Aviation Risk and Safety Assurance Officer to join our team!
 

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting assurance activities, supporting our HSEQ department by orchestrating audits and reviews, handling safety reports, and streamlining the safety reporting process. You’ll be the strategist behind safety improvements, guiding the business through change management, and leading the charge in continuous enhancement endeavours.
 

You will identify and neutralise areas of non-compliance or non-conformance, launch in-depth investigations, craft insightful reports, and steer us towards a safer, higher-quality aviation business. You’ll be a key player, collaborating with the HSEQ department and Business Units to execute safety initiatives that keep our aviation services safe and secure.
 

What you will bring
 

  • Diploma level qualification in Safety, or Quality (or other relevant field).
  • Qualification as a lead auditor (Essential).
  • Safety Investigation qualifications such as ICAM or Aviation Accident Investigation (Essential).
  • Certificate IV in workplace training and assessment (Desirable)
  • Extensive experience in aviation.
  • Experience conducting operational safety audits, safety investigations and processing / reviewing Hazard and Safety Occurrence Reports.
  • Sound Knowledge of CASA and WH&S legislation, and Operational Risk Management.
