A new exciting opportunity has emerged for an IT Support Engineer to address the permanent influx of support tickets related to the rapid growth of systems and employees. The focus is on experienced L1/L2 support engineers with the capability and skills to support the IT operations.

How you will contribute to our mission in getting Australia to space:

The below is designed to give you an idea of the role you will play. There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do.

  • Provide exceptional support experience to internal staff (Level1/2 user and systems support) both on-premises and remotely
  • Troubleshoot HW/SW related issues in timely manners
  • Install and configure various HW/SW (desktops, servers, switches, routers, APs, printers etc.)
  • Provision HW/SW, licenses and keep asset inventory up to date
  • Develop, test, and deliver new systems and solutions
  • Create and document systems processes and procedures
  • Assist with on/off-boarding new employees
  • Assist with purchasing HW/SW where required
  • Assist with research on latest technology and solutions
  • Other duties as requested by Management

 

Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor in IT related field, system engineering or system administration
  • Minimum four years hands-on IT support role experience
  • Strong awareness of Data Security
  • Evidence of outstanding results and desire to become a star on our journey to Orbit
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills across wide range of HW/SW (desktops, servers, storage devices, routers, switches, APs, VPN, and other related technology) in physical and virtualised environment
  • Advanced experience in troubleshooting Windows 10/11, Linux/Ubuntu, Mac in a domain environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (including Office Apps, SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate)
  • Practical experience with Admin 365, Azure AD/Active Directory, DHCP/DNS, GPOs, Printer management, Security & Compliance toolset, Exchange, CMD / PowerShell / Bash Shell, ITSM / RMM products and related administration tools
  • Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and a strive for continuous improvement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong support-focused mindset
  • NV1 Security Clearance eligible preferred

 

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ year Systems Administration experience
  • Troubleshooting and understanding of CAD/CAE/CAM related software
  • Advanced networking skills (segregation, security, encryption, …)
  • Experience with system integrations and API development (GraphQL, REST, JSON, OAuth, Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate or similar)
  • Experience with mobile platforms (iOS/Android) and MDM/MAM tools
  • Familiar with ITIL framework and best practices
