About the Role

Working within the JP9101 Support Services team (approx. $1 billion value 10-year project, to deliver Australia’s Defence High Frequency Communications System next-generation upgrade), you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining schedules for activities and events, taking account of dependencies and resource requirements and taking the lead on identifying material requirements and allocation of budgets.

 

Reporting to the Senior Planner and Scheduler, you will develop, implement and maintain the baseline for the EDHFCS (Enhanced Defence High Frequency Communications System) site upgrades. You will do this through a detailed project plan and track progress relating to scope, performance, cost, scheduler and quality.

 

This role is based in Keswick, South Australia with some WFH options.

 

About You

You will bring your project scheduling and estimating experience along with proficiency in various scheduling tools to this role and become a key team player in providing successful outcomes.

 

You will have demonstrated experienced liaising with subcontractors, loading and managing costs in line with budget baseline, reporting and understanding the use of Earned Value Analysis techniques to interpret and communicate results to the team.

 

To be successful, you will have:

 

  • Australian citizenship with ability to obtain / maintain Defence Security Clearance
  • Significant project scheduling experience in medium-high complexity projects
  • Ability to provide critical path analysis of schedules
  • Proficiency in Scheduling software (P6 preferred however will train / certify on this tool)
  • Defence industry experience will be highly regarded
  • Project Management qualifications (preferred)
