About the Role
 

Due to an internal promotion, we’re excited to announce an opportunity to join the Babcock team as a Payroll Officer. In this role, reporting directly to the Payroll Team Lead, you’ll become a key player within our finance department, overseeing the vital payroll function.
 

You’ll manage both monthly and fortnightly payrolls, support Superannuation payments, and handle calculations and reconciliations of leave balances. Your attention to detail will be essential as you maintain accurate payroll records and assist with reporting.

To be successful, ideally you will bring:
 

  • Australian Citizenship.
  • Experience with electronic payroll systems (preferably Preceda).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills & MS office suite.
  • Ability to work effectively & collaboratively as part of a team to achieve desired results.
  • Able to prioritise work and meet tight deadlines with competing priorities.
  • Accuracy of output with great attention to detail.
