About the role

The Government Relations Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining and realising the benefits of effective relationships with local, state and federal government stakeholders to ensure delivery of our strategy across Australasia. They will be responsible for the development and implementation of Babcock’s government engagement strategy with the aim of developing mutually beneficial partnerships with government stakeholders to strengthen those relationships, maximise opportunities and enhance the organisation’s reputation.

 

The Government Relations Manager will play a key role in the implementation of Babcock’s Australasia influence and engagement activity in the public policy area to enhance the visibility of Babcock’s agenda at the local, regional, national and global level. This role is important to supporting Babcock’s growth ambitions and enhancing the business brand and reputation in the region. The role works with colleagues in Australasia and Babcock Internationally to ensure an aligned approach.
