About the Role
 

Are you ready to make a significant impact on our finance team? Babcock is on the hunt for a dynamic Financial Accountant to join our Corporate Services Finance team. In this key role, you’ll drive our Accounts Receivable function, ensuring prompt billing, managing credit control, and handling daily bank reconciliations. Your expertise will support various business units, and you’ll be responsible for processing orders, managing sales invoices, and preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

To be successful, you will bring
 

  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, or related discipline.
  • Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA) or studying toward.
  • Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word).
  • Experience processing multiple currency / FX transactions.
  • Experience with IFS.
  • Australian Citizen with a Defence Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain).
