Deputy Project Manager – Physical Implementation

About the role


As an integral member of our High Frequency Defence team and reporting directly to the Physical Implementation Manager, you will deliver key activities to ensure Babcock’s success in transferring operations of existing High Frequency sites from the current incumbents and support the rollout of high-tech site upgrades and installations at a national level.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:


Conduct phase in and site installation activities in a way that does not disrupt or affect operational availability or capability of the assets. Build and maintain enduring relationships, ensuring that all stakeholders are engaged and considered to deliver ‘Best for Program’ outcomes across the Program. Work in dynamic environments and effectively manage competing demands from multiple stakeholders.


About you


The successful applicant will thrive working within a complex forward-thinking environment and ideally possess:

Tertiary qualifications Project Management or a related discipline. Experience in Project reporting and measuring project performance.   Exemplary communication skills with an ability to build positive working relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders. Project delivery experience within a Defence, Engineering or a heavy industry environment would be highly beneficial.
