Gilmour Space is the leading Australian rocket company, pioneering next-generation hybrid propulsion technologies for small satellite launch vehicles.
The Cleaner’s role is to maintain the internal areas of the building at a very high standard. You will be entrusted with the ongoing upkeep of company toilets and kitchens. Additionally, you will be responsible for waste removal, bin management, and the cleanliness of company workspaces.

How you will contribute to our mission in getting Australia to space:
The below is designed to give you an idea of the role you will play. There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do.
- General cleaning, including mopping and vacuuming floor surfaces, as well as wiping the surfaces of sinks, basins, toilets, urinals, and mirrors.
- Waste removal: involving emptying waste bins and replacing bins with new liners, making sure all bins placed at work site are emptied.
- Make sure all consumables (hand soaps, toilet rolls and hand towels) are replenished as required
- Toilet cleaning- Clean all sinks, floors, taps and mirrors to the best possible standard. Mop/sweep the floors where appropriate.
- Be a happy face to building occupants.
- Be an advocate in reporting required maintenance issues.
- Maintaining a tidy workspace.
- Comply with company procedures.
- Be physically fit to carry out standard duties and ability to walk for lengthy periods.
- Be able to effectively communicate in verbal and written English.

- Eye for detail

- Ability to work reliably with minimal supervision

- Minimum of 1-year commercial cleaning experience (preferred)
- Works well within a team
