Role Overview

We are looking for a candidate to lead, develop, inspire and engage the Project Management and Governance team across Australia and New Zealand whilst working as a business partner to support broader business initiatives.

Programs: Provide strategic guidance to project teams and project managers in a manner consistent with CAE culture. Oversee the execution of all programs within the Australia & New Zealand sub-region including planning, resourcing, monitoring and control of project activities. Responsible for the delivery of projects to customers that fulfill contractual obligations and achieve CAE objectives.

Governance: Establish and maintain strong links with global PMO to ensure that regional project execution reflects CAE processes and policies and leverages global resources to achieve superior outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the PM Team to execute projects to scope, budget, schedule and quality requirements
  • Monitoring the order intake forecast to ensure that the PM department has sufficient, trained human resources & IT resources to execute proposals & projects within relevant requirements.

Qualifications and Experience/Requirements  

To be considered for this role, you must have the following:

  • Experience leading large teams
  • Experience delivering large projects
  • Focus on Agile PM methodologies
  • Bachelor’s Degree plus a professional certification
  • Minimum 8 years in Project Management, preferably in Defence/Aerospace environment
  • Experience with Project Management software tools
  • Experience in managing & developing teams
  • Defence clearance (NV1) desirable
