About the Role
Join Babcock’s dynamic Strategic Growth team as we drive forward in the Land & Mission Systems domain. We’re seeking a proactive professional to support the development of new opportunities through in-depth research, analysis, and customer engagement, all in alignment with our strategic goals. Represent Babcock’s mission and interests in public forums, fostering strong relationships both within our organisation and with external partners, including customers, industry experts, and academic institutions.
Your role will involve contributing to business development plans, identifying future opportunities, and attending industry events to represent Babcock. You’ll work closely with our Business Development Manager to report on key activities, maintain robust internal relationships, and support strategic initiatives and partnerships.
We need someone who understands the market, our partners, and our competitors, documenting market intelligence to inform our strategic decisions. You’ll build and maintain strong customer and industry relationships, support bid teams, contribute to solution architecture, and engage with our supply chain.

To be successful, you will bring
- Tertiary qualifications in a technical discipline, business, commercial, legal and/or project management.
- Capture Management Process and Delivery experience.
- Familiarity with Army procurement.
- Experience working on complex Defence Bids.
- Australian Citizen with a Defence Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain).
