About you
You will have working knowledge of MILIS and a keen interest in planning and forecasting demand. With your proven attention to detail you’ll take on the Inventory list ensuring forecasts for the years’ required parts are in Advanced Inventory Management System (AIMS) accurately and ready to be despatched to purchasing. Importantly, should you have any knowledge gaps, you’ll be supported and trained to achieve your best!
Ideally you’ll possess previous inventory control, demand planning or procurement experience and the ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder engagement bot internally and externally. Studies in Logistics or Procurement are welcome but not essential as is your previous service within the Australian Defence Force (ADF).
You’ll also bring your current Baseline or NV1 Defence Security Clearance and a current drivers’ licence.
About the Role
As the AIMS Officer you’ll work both independently and as part of a team and will analyse the inventory data ensuring all materials are available to maintenance both scheduled and unscheduled.
You’ll be key to the maintenance services provided by Babcock.
