We are pleased to invite applications for the position of Maintenance Requirements Determination Support Officer to join our UH-60M Black Hawk team.

 

About the role

As the Maintenance Requirements Determination (MRD) Support Officer, you will provide logistics support analysis inclusive of maintenance, spares and engineering review and optimisation, and also manage the Logistics Support Analysis Record.

 

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

·     Analysing and documenting logistics support requirements for the UH-60M Black Hawk

·     Reviewing and evaluating UH-60M Black Hawk technical documentation to assess maintenance requirements

·     Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) advice and guidance to a range of stakeholders across the Program

·     Other duties as directed by the Commonwealth Representative

 

About you

You will be a strong communicator who is able to influence as well as present at a professional level, due to your impeccable attention to detail. You will hold Tertiary qualifications in Engine / Airframe maintenance from a recognised institution, and/or equivalent relevant experience (preferably within the defence industry).

 

To be successful in this role you will also have:

•      Experience in MRD/LSA with a Defence SPO environment

•      Advanced communication skills; able to prepare and present concise oral and written reports, briefings, updates and other documentation to a wide range of stakeholders

•      Advanced conceptual and analytical skills

•      Experience within a Sustainment DASR Part M Team

•      Completion of the MRD Practitioners Course, intro to ILS Course or CAMM2 qualifications would be desirable

 

Special requirements

Applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and hold a current or re-instatable NV1 Defence Security Clearance or be eligible to gain this.
The location of the role will be at the Enoggera Barracks, Brisbane.
