About the role

As part of our team based at the SPO, you will be providing the technical assessment of parts/spares; management of master data including cataloguing and codification activity to ensure MILIS data is current and accurate, and providing advice and guidance to a range of key stakeholders.

 

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

·         Problem solve and provide and implement effective approved solutions

·         Enable the efficient processing of acquisition spares

·         Technical assessment and determinations on parts

·         Analyse reparability of parts and components

·         Provide a high level of advice and guidance to a range of stakeholders across the Company with respect to UH-60m Black Hawk activities

 

About you

Having previously worked in a Defence System Program Office (SPO) environment, and holding a Certificate IV or above in Aeroskills from a recognised institution, you will also be a strong team player who is able to analyse and interpret complex reports and information.

 

To be successful in this role you will also have:

·         Appropriate aircraft trade qualifications (e.g. trade papers, apprenticeship, indentures etc)

·         MILIS Database experience

·         Well developed skills and experience in the use of MS Office and other relevant software packages and applications

·         Significant experience in aviation maintenance

·         Previous experience in aviation quality/logistics environments

 

Special requirements

Applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and hold a current or re-instatable NV1 Defence Security Clearance or be eligible to gain this.
The location of the role will be at the Enoggera Barracks, QLD.
