We are pleased to invite applications for the position of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – B2 to join our UH-60M Black Hawk team.

 

About the role

As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will be performing and endorsing maintenance and General Aviation Tasks as required and ensuring they are completed in the aircraft continuing airworthiness record system.

 

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

·         Task Sign-off and Certification of Maintenance (within scope of authorisation)

·         Operating authorised test and support equipment

·         Using only approved and serviceable tools, ground equipment, test equipment and materials

·         Adhering to tool control procedures in accordance with AFCAMAN, Book IV, Chapter

·         Evaluating the adequacy and efficiency of maintenance activities and proposing changes as required

·         Preparing and submitting defective or surplus components and materiel

·         Completing and submitting associated documentation for support equipment

·         Ensuring all follow-on maintenance requirements have been identified and documented

 

About you

With your previous experience in a similar role, you have a passion for this industry and enjoy working in a team while building enduring professional relationships.  You will also hold a Certificate IV or above in Avionics from a recognised institution as well as a B2 MAML on Rotary Wing Aircraft.

 

To be successful in this role you will also have:

·         Proven experience in performance of aviation maintenance

·         Personnel management and technical leadership skills at the task level

·         Demonstrated working knowledge of Human Factors in Maintenance

·         Demonstrated understanding between hazards, risk and the ability to implement associated controls

·         Ability to influence through written and oral communication

 

Special requirements

Applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and hold a current or re-in statable NV1 Defence Security Clearance or be eligible to gain this.
The location of the role will be at Holsworthy, NSW.
