We are pleased to invite applications for the position of Maintenance Training Developer to join our UH-60M Black Hawk team.

 

About the role

This integral role as the Maintenance Training Developer, is a key member of the UH-60M Blackhawk Training Team.  You will be tasked with the development of UH-60M Type Course Learning Management Packages ( LMP) in support of Australian Army.  You will be a proven leader who is able to mentor and supervise others, as well as work independently.

 

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

·         Assist the development of UH-60M Transition course LMP

·         Undertake the development of UH-60M Initial Employment Training LMP

·         Support UH-60M Instructors in their work and course design and delivery

·         Conduct Training Working Groups

·         Develop and coordinate training activities and provide expertise to influence system design through program phases

·         Prepare briefing material and present briefings addressing product Training issues

·         Identify and present opportunities for Training development and delivery Improvements

·         Support the development and maintenance of Technical Training Documentation and Publications

 

About you

Due to the nature of this role, along with being self-motivated and outcomes focussed with superior communication skills, you will also hold a Cert IV in Training and Assessment or Development.

 

To be successful in this role you will also have:

·       Extensive experience in Training Development in a Defence Training environment

·       Extensive experience utilising System Approach to Defence Learning ( SADL) processes

·       Advanced skills and experience in the use of MS Office and other software packages and applications

·       Proven ability to adapt and maintain a flexible approach to changing needs and priorities

·       Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels

·       Proven stakeholder engagement

·       Ability to investigate issues and good problem solving skills

 

Special requirements

Applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and hold a current or re-instatable NV1 Defence Security Clearance or be eligible to gain this.
The location of the role will be virtual initially, with frequent interstate travel as required.
