About the role:

You will be responsible for developing and executing cyber governance, risk and compliance processes, policies, tools and strategies to assess, identify, mitigate and validate cyber risk. Responsible for holistically monitoring and assessing cyber risk to including cyber security education and awareness; cyber validation and audit methodologies; integrated risk management (RMF); satisfying cyber security regulatory (e.g., DSPF, ISM, DFARS, SOX, etc), contractual, policy, and governance requirements.

About you: 

Strong knowledge of Cyber Security frameworks.
Substantial experience assessing risk in-line with PSPF, ISM and DSPF requirements.
Strong understanding of threats and vulnerabilities as they apply to Defence IT systems.
Well-developed understanding of system engineering principles and methodology.
Strong skills in writing accurate documentation to present security related information, in a clear and precise manner.
Ability to proactively and meaningfully contribute to workshops and have the capability to present C&A information to a technical and non-technical audience.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (computer science, software engineering, Information Systems etc.) from a recognised institution, and/or equivalent relevant experience (preferably within the defence industry)

 

Special Requirements:

Applicants are required to hold & and maintain CoA NV1 security clearance.
