About The Role:

We are currently seeking motivated and innovative software engineers to join our dedicated team
You can either be an individual contributor or lead working with diverse technologies across various
Defence programs with a focus on business and operational systems.  Working in a highly
collaborative, team-based environment, you will be eager to think outside the box to develop
innovative solutions to complex problems.

As a leader, you will provide technical guidance and mentoring to other employees including
contributing to our Graduate program.  You will work closely with program technical leads and other
management to provide direction and motivate other team members.

Technology stack we are seeking:

Essential:

  • Ada

Desirable not essential:

  • Radar domain knowledge
  • Radio communications domain knowledge
  • IFF domain knowledge
  • Defence real-time systems
  • Object oriented design and programming
  • Systems Engineering including requirements analysis and design
  • DOORs
  • Enterprise Architect
  • JIRA, GIT and BitBucket

Education (desirable not essential):

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Information Technology

Clearance:

In order to be eligible for this position, you must have an active Australian Defence security
clearance or be eligible to obtain one at a minimum of NV1 level.  Therefore, you WILL NEED TO
BE AUSTRALIAN CITIZENS.  You will also be able to obtain ITAR Clearance.

Location:

This position can be based in DXC’s modern offices at Technology Park in Mawson Lakes, 14kms
North from Adelaide’s CBD or our Macquarie Park, Sydney offices. Both our offices are surrounded
by other technology and innovation organisations and is walking distance to parks, waterways,
restaurants & café’s, shopping, fitness centres and public transport.

We are also open for these roles to be performed remotely from other Australian locations too.

You will possess an ability to work:

  • Independently i.e., working physically remote from other members of the team, across Australian states and in NZ.
  • Within a team i.e., working virtually but very collaboratively.
