About the role
 

This role is important to support Babcock’s growth ambitions and enhancing the business brand and reputation in the region. The role works with colleagues in Australasia and Babcock Internationally to ensure an aligned approach.

 

Based in Adelaide, the Media and Communications Manager will lead media and  internal communications function for Babcock Australasia. You will specifically manage media relations and develop high-quality communications for the CEO and Executive Committee members including company updates and key announcements and people and culture transformation projects. This position supports all areas of the organisation to develop communications strategies and best practice corporate communications platforms to support business objectives.

 

About you
 

You are an innovative leader who thrives on delivering best practice media and corporate communications outcomes and enjoys working closely with senior leaders to support strategic business objectives. Your experience comes with a strong track record in developing and sustaining key relationships, working in and with the media and having a highly attuned radar for managing opportunities and issues.
 

You will hold a Tertiary qualification in Journalism, Communications,  and/or Business and have a proven ability to articulate key messages appropriately to a variety of audiences.
