About the role

Due to an internal promotion, we have an opportunity for an experienced Material Expeditor to join our Henderson on a permanent basis. This opportunity is part of the WAMA Supply Chain Team and contributes to provision and management of inventory required in support of Department of Defence repair and maintenance activities.

As the Material Expeditor, you will conduct urgent activities working closely with the Logistics Coordinator and key stakeholders to ensure their materials and services needs are met on time, every time.

 

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in Supply Chain activities;
  • Proven high level of attention to detail and strong communication skills;
  • Strong relationships management skills;
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and within tight time restraints;
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience and understanding in the use of MILIS, LNIDS, SAP and other ERP systems;
  • Experience using the Military Integrated Logistics Information System (MILIS);
  • Must either hold, or be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance; and
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Construction Induction Card (White Card).
