About the Role
 

We are currently in search of a Critical Risk Management Coordinator to become an integral part of our high-performing marine team. This position holds a pivotal role in ensuring the secure execution of critical risk activities. Your primary responsibilities will involve adeptly planning, coordinating, and overseeing critical risk activities within the scope of Babcock’s work, particularly focusing on one of our key Defence programs.
 

In this role, you will be responsible for conveying the schedule of critical risk activities to the appropriate stakeholders, offering guidance on effective critical risk management practices to promote a uniform approach across diverse teams. Moreover, you will contribute to project pre-planning and post-project reviews to facilitate continuous learning and improvement. Your duties will also encompass monitoring and compliance tasks, along with reporting performance and findings to the relevant stakeholders. You will diligently record pertinent data in various systems to maintain accurate records.
 

What you will bring
 

  • Australian Citizen with a NV1 security clearance (or the ability to obtain).
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a high risk industry.
  • Cert IV Health & Safety Management.
  • RIIWHS204D Work Safely at heights.
  • RIIWHS202D Enter and work in confined spaces.
  • MSMPER200 Work in accordance with an issued permit.
  • MSMWHS217 Gas Test atmospheres.
  • Cert 111 Fire Warden.
  • Current Provide First Aid Certificate.
