Software Engineer

 

About the role

Forming an integral part of our global team that is responsible for designing, developing, and integrating our software required to deliver our major Defence High Frequency Communications System, the Software Engineering role is a critical resource for the wider business. You will be involved in all aspects of the Software Engineering lifecycle from the derivation of software requirements, software development and testing.  Key aspects including but not limited to participating the development and maintenance of software components and associated simulators using Agile development methods.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will hold a high level of verbal, and written communication skills to engage with our internal and external stakeholders coupled with a high level of both Agile and Waterfal Test Environments. At a minimum requirement, you would hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent, and an ability to obtain a Defence Security clearance, it would be desirable for you to have at least 5 years of experience working within both a software and Defence environment. You will be able to demonstrate software engineering experience coupled with preference for engineering experience in a RF, HF and or relevant communications discipline. In addition, you will be fluent in the following;
