About the role

As an integral part of a global team the Software Developer (Test Specialist) will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and verifying the software required to deliver a major Defence communications system. You will be responsible for participating in the development and maintenance of software components and associated simulators using Agile development methods.

About you

With a solid foundation of software and test specialist knowledge to accompany your bachelor’s degree in Computer science or engineering, you will form an integral part of the wider innovative Babcock software team. In addition, you will have proven skills with functional testing, running and managing appropriate tests to ensure requirements are met. Advanced knowledge with Data management, web development, software architecture, Azure DevOps or Jira will be a minimum requirement to be successful.
