About the role

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Senior Sub-Contractor Coordinator (SCC) will safely manage and coordinate allocated subcontractor tasks in addition to providing support to SCC team embedded within assigned Production Team – assisting with SCC process development and taking lead on new SCC onboarding, ongoing training and performance reviews. They shall foster and develop a good relationship with Production Leads, subcontractors and client, to ensure open and honest dialogue is maintained and are responsible for the on-time delivery of allocated Subcontractor tasks in accordance with the integrated master schedule.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordination and management of tasks, acting as the first point of contact for allocated Repair Agents (RA’s)
  • Review RA Job Safety Analysis’s (JSEA’s) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP’s) prior to work commencing to ensure compliance with legislative, Technical Repair Specification (TRS) and contractual requirements
  • Manage allocated RA’s and associated tasks to ensure :
    • Delivery to agreed schedule as developed and maintained by the RA
    • Task completion adheres to quality, ITP and TRS requirements, and all witness/hold points are verified by authorised parties
    • Problem Identification Reports (PIRs) are raised for all deviations from TRS scope
    • Inspection and Test activities are planned and implemented for verification of conformance to TRS,
    • Submitted Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) complies with all requirements detailed in TRS
  • Assist in the raising of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR’s) as required
  • Provide interaction and support for Project Management Team in establishing site requirements

 

About you

Essential

  • Trade background or Cert IV in Engineering

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite in particular Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Ability to develop daily operation schedules and deconflict activities
  • Ability to accommodate irregular work patterns to meet production requirements when required

 

Essential Compliance Requirements

  • Must either hold, or be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance at the following level;
    • AGSVA Baseline Clearance
  • Current Motor Vehicle Driver’s Licence;
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card).
  • No restrictions to access For Official Use Only (FOUO) level or ITAR controlled material

 

Desirable

  • CertIV in Frontline Management

  • Suitable experience in a similar role
  • Prior experience or knowledge working in the Defence Industry
