About the Role
 

Join our dynamic Marine team in Osborne SA and become a crucial Hydraulic Technician, propelling the performance of Collins Class submarines. Be at the forefront of engineering, design, systems integration, and platform management as we maintain and sustain these vessels.
 

In this exciting role, you’ll be responsible for a range of tasks, from stripping, surveying, and cleaning to refurbishing and testing hydraulic and mechanical equipment. Keep the workshop running smoothly with regular maintenance and troubleshoot any equipment issues that arise. Collaborate closely with the Workshop team to ensure we meet all program targets and deliver exceptional results.
 

We’re searching for someone with a friendly demeanour, capable of fostering a positive team atmosphere. As our ideal candidate, you’ll embrace challenges with a proactive and optimistic outlook, effectively communicating with stakeholders to achieve success. You will also possess:
 

  • Australian Citizenship with a Baseline Security clearance or the ability to obtain.
  • Mechanical Trade Background.
  • Extensive experience in the refurbishment of hydraulics machinery and mechanical systems.
  • Current C class drivers licence.
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings.
  • Further training and/or certificates in hydraulics is desirable.
