About the role

Reporting to the Program Manager within WAMA (Warship Asset Management Agreement) Alliance, you will provide leadership, planning and oversight throughout the project lifecycle and work very closely with the production team and external stakeholders. This role will have accountability for financial, schedule and quality outcomes to ensure the External Maintenance Periods (EMP) are planned and executed to deliver the project objectives within the stipulated constraints and with available resources.

This role is based on site in Henderson WA.

 

About you 

We are looking for an individual that is a motivated self-starter, with demonstrated ability to manage quality and effectiveness of the project management services being provided by the Integrated Project Team (ITP).

 

You will have prior experience in leading complex maritime projects with best practice outcomes. You will have exceptional interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills to navigate communication across multiple internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

 

To be successful, you will have:

  • Formal project management qualification or ability to demonstrate equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and deliver complex maritime and/or defence projects
  • Proven stakeholder engagement in complex environments
  • Project cost and schedule management experience
  • Ability to maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance
