About you

You will be a strategic project management professional, preferably with Defence In-Service Support (production) experience. You will bring exceptional people leadership skills and the ability to successfully lead a program team to deliver services as per the contract requirements to a high-quality standard and on time. You will have a key focus on lead time improvement and KPI performance initiatives.

About the role

Reporting to the Program Manager – Collins, you will manage all function resources (internal and contractors), whilst ensuring the quality of analysis, services, and outputs through adherence to program plans, process, systems and tools to deliver the project scope.

 

You will have the ability to drive capability and capacity management of functional personnel to achieve immediate and long-term objectives of the Collins Program and other Mission and System Support projects.

 

This role is based in Henderson, WA – with a team of 4-5 direct reports.

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain Defence Security Clearance as per AGSVA requirements
  • Relevant degree and/or qualification in Project Management (e.g. AIPM certification or equivalent)
  • Significant experience in a team leader / project management role within a Defence In Service Support production environment
  • Successful record of achievement at either major project or company level with full accountability for financial performance
  • Understanding of commercial issues, including contractual terms and conditions
