About the role

 

The Maintenance Administrator provides administrative support to the Babcock Maintenance Team, to ensure the timely performance and compliance with customer and contractual requirements.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the monitoring and controlling of tasks in the maintenance system;
  • Run project data reports in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software;
  • Monitor Task Progress Completions Certificates for critique’s, improvement and updating, also provision of maintenance status reports (weekly);
  • Perform data analysis against project close out and report to internal and external stakeholders regarding project data; and
  • Identify continual improvement initiatives regarding Maintenance Administration.

 

About you

Essential

  • Previous administration experience;
  • Strong computer aptitude, competent level of skills and use of MS Software applications including MS Excel;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills; and
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve desired results.

 

Desirable

  • Cert III (or above) in Business – Business and Administration;
  • Prior experience in the Defence sector; and
  • ERP software experience.

 

Essential Compliance Requirements:

  • Must either hold, or be eligible to obtain and maintain, an Australian Defence Security Clearance at the following level;
    • AGSVA Baseline Clearance
  • Current Motor Vehicle Driver’s Licence;
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card); and
  • No restrictions to access For Official Use Only (FOUO) level or ITAR controlled material.

This position will work within our Marine business unit, which provides asset management solutions to the Australian maritime sector. Working closely with supply chain partners, marine provides cost-effective and responsive solutions that optimise the availability, capability, and seaworthiness of critical maritime assets. Marine supports assets across the Royal Australian Navy’s fleet – most notably the Anzac Class Frigates as a member of the Warship Asset Management Agreement (WAMA) and the Canberra Class Landing Helicopter Docks (LHD), LHD Landing Craft (LLC) and associated assets.
