About the role
 

Are you a skilled Management Accountant seeking a role with diverse responsibilities? Look no further! We are currently hiring a Management Accountant to join our Aviation division, reporting directly to the Finance Manager (Aviation).
 

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing budgets, preparing monthly reports and reconciliations, and conducting analytical reviews of financial data. Core aspects of the position include fixed asset and stock accounting, contract level reporting, project reporting (with a focus on asset-heavy maintenance and overhaul), and direct cost analysis.
 

Our Aviation division provides critical emergency medical and search & rescue services, working closely with government and government-funded bodies. You will contribute to these essential operations by driving improvement and efficiency initiatives through the implementation of best practices, process enhancements, and system upgrades. Your expertise in Finance processes and procedures will enable you to assist non-financial managers in understanding and utilising financial data, leveraging your recommendations to drive informed business decisions.

 

About you
 

To excel in this role, you should have experience in a similar position within a large corporate or professional services environment. A degree in Accounting or Finance is essential, and completion or near completion of the Chartered Accountant Program or a similar qualification is highly desirable. Excellent written and oral communication skills, familiarity with ERP systems, and a strong command of MS Office, particularly MS Excel, are key attributes that will see you succeed in this role.
