As our Quality Control Technician, you’ll be the go-to in ensuring the integrity of Quality Control is maintained throughout operational processes. From the acceptance of goods to the dispatch of finished product, you’ll lead the way in running a strong practice.

 

 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure customer satisfaction is maintained regarding product and documentary requirements.
  • Collection and collation of quality documentation.
  • Originate, check and/or approval of quality documentation where SQEP allows.
  • Origination of Material Data Reports (MDRs).
  • Checking MDRs for completeness and alignment with customer requirements ready for final approval.
  • Witnessing of tests and other process where required and SQEP allows.
  • Conduct physical and documentary acceptance process for goods inwards after stores receipt.
  • Management of the Return To Vendor (RTV) process and reporting of close out progress.
  • Raise non-conformance reports (NCR), reject notes and other quality system documentation as and when required during daily activities.
  • Maintenance of a “once only” system of document checking.
  • Support the internal audit process under direction of the Business Systems.

 

About you

You’re qualified in engineering or manufacturing disciplines and hold strong knowledge of quality systems and relevant Australian and International standards. You can read and understand engineering drawings. You work effectively as part of a team or autonomously and have metrology experience.

 

If you’ve got experience working with ERP Systems, this will be beneficial but if not you will be guided by a team who are there to support along the way if needed.
