As our Project Engineer, you will work to support our Marine capability in Garden Island. You will be responsible for engineering and analysis support across a number of programs investigating and providing recommendations to resolve identified issues.

 

 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Overall Management of Engineering Change activities from Problem Report to Change Closer
  • Execution of Engineering Change aspects within SQEP
  • Oversee design progression through the following design and governance stages – Initial Assessment, SRR, PDR, DA, DDR, IA TRR, PRR, V&V, SR CC. Review all OQE.
  • Contribute to the analysis of Engineering Change at Problem Report
  • Ensure Integrated Logistic Support considerations are applied to the Engineering Change
  • Complete Engineering Change Integrated Logistic Support within SQEP
  • Coordinate and manage the estimation of engineering effort required for the technical solution, fabrication and installation required to deliver the project
  • Register and file Engineering Change records for all task related decisions and documentation
  • Engagement and management of Design Houses
  • Establish and maintain stakeholder involvement until Change Closure
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the engineering function and the LHD Enterprise; and
  • Conduct tasking as directed by the Engineering Change Project Manager

 

 

About you

You’re experienced in engineering investigation and analysis in a maritime environment and have previous exposure to asset management policies and processes. Your skills in these areas provide you with the confidence and commitment in delivering a dedicated approach to your work and your team. You are comfortable updating technical documentation, data driven report writing and performing RCA’s.
